Even though I won a heated tuna melt competition in the 7th grade, it would be a long and winding journey before I turned my victory into a profession.
I studied Mid-East History at Tufts University, then worked as a comic actress in New York City, and then moved to Los Angeles, where I also taught school for 17 years! When I finally went to cooking school at The New School of Cooking, my friends and family said, "Duh, what took you so long?"
After interning at AOC, I taught cooking to kids at Piccolo Chef and grown-ups at LA Foodworks, before I launched my first little sandwich company with the big big name, Omnibus Delecto, Everything’s Delicious.
Salty Baby is my new culinary baby! And everything is still delicious.
